In December 2020, an industrial espionage campaign and concerted effort to sabotage Devlin Macgregor and it’s flagship product Provasic was uncovered. Evidence gathered showed that one or more individuals feigning as Medical staff, illegally entered the Devlin Macgregor research annex at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital to steal blood cytology and liver cell vivisections. The stolen samples were all from Provasic clinical trial registrants. Dr. Kathy Wahlund, 39 and Dr. Anne Eastman, 41, both medical residents at Cook County Hospital have provided extensive cooperation in the investigations of the burglarized test-results and cell samples.
Following leads gathered from the crime scene, as well as multiple tips that were recently phoned in, the Central-Metro Chicago Police Department arrested Desmondo Jose Ruiz, 44 of Naperville, Illinois.
According to Police, Ruiz claims he is the victim of a stolen employee identification card, and that unknown perpetrators used his credentials to break into the research annex to steal the lab test results, Ruiz told WCNX radio, “All I know is that I simply don’t know what happened …somebody’s obviously tamper [sic] with my card and changed the photo to frame me. I have nothing in this thing you say!”.

My investigation leads me to believe this was an inside job by one or more hospital employees. Clearly these criminals knew exactly what they were looking for. The shocking amount of damage to both the office area and the lab was clearly done to cover their tracks. I will use all means necessary to bring these cowards to justice.
